Indigo Bloom

A dream of empty skies and no one watching

The skies are deep and azure

Having more than what they offer

I learn things I didn’t question

What I’ve become and what I’ll be

Knowing things that were a myth

These skies are showering something not rational

The intuition gets real

Indigo bloom is taking over

      1. Thank you☺
I only write poems when I feel like there is something inside my head which I want to keep for long and so I just put it out, this way I can have my thoughts preserved. And this makes me love writing them

      2. I think this is the common factor among the poets. And this is the best way to treasure our thoughts. Isn’t it?

  1. Hi Abhishek, it’s wonderful to bump into you in the blogosphere. I am yet to check out your works but I found this poem and the painting accompanying it fascinating. Is that your painting by the way? you are truly gifted if it is 🙂 And the words spill out beautifully. Looking forward to reading more of your works. Cheers.

  2. You have a beautiful pen . I have been reading you for nearly one hour, loving every word of your very deep and profound poetry, peeping at hidden emotions between the lines. Fascinating.
I thank you for the follow and for reading my poetry. You may find my poems and stories girlish compared to yours , but there’s something about writing that is common to all who hold the pen and this something is Love.

    1. I feel privileged to get such beautiful response to what I write. And ma’am, it is really a pleasure to get so much praise, really means a lot.
And I’m just an amateur just like most of the other people here, what I do is nowhere near perfect and I try to learn from my fellow bloggers like you and this is the love we share. Believe me, I found a great level of calmness and ease in your and that doesn’t count as girlish. You write so well that even I read your poems more than once. We should share this love more☺

      1. Thank you Abhishek ! I am an amateur writer too and I am still learning to write, dividing my time between my family , my professional career and my passion.
Keep on writing. I hope to see you in print one day.
        Much love
