The smell of your velvet skin

Subdued the air thin

You look so pale and lean

Wrapped in the rumpled sheet

You’re always so strung out

Your cheekbones could cut glass

I tried to keep you at bay

From all that white powdery yay

Your eyes that were once dreamy

And carried elusive lines of timeless fragmentation

Have gone sullen and plain

Filled with coffin chills in brain

You’ll be cold and dead, that’s your belief

Wake up from your dreams, you’ll get some relief

Don’t let your heart bleed an evil deed

Don’t let your delusions asunder your soul and body

This might just be the harbinger of your revival

Let me bring in the light of reason

In your cave of hallucinations
